Returns and Cancellation policy

We do not have an exchange policy. You may cancel and book a fresh order for the product you want.

If you wish to cancel your order, please try and do so before the order is shipped. There will be a cancellation charge of 5% of the product price paid, which is towards transaction and administrative charges. The balance will be refunded to you.

If the order is cancelled after the product is shipped, the cancellation charge is 10% of the product price paid, and refund is subject to following additional conditions:

  1. A cancellation request must be raised within 24 hours of receipt of goods by sending an email to hello@theofficinaitaliana.com describing the reasons for cancellation.
  2. Product must be returned by handing it over to the courier within 48 hours of its receipt.
  3. Product must be in its original fold and packing. (Note- if the product is damaged, or scratched or packing is tampered with, the goods will not be eligible for a refund. )
  4. Items must be returned unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged to qualify for refund.

The return courier must be arranged by the customer and the charges of the return courier will be borne by the customer.

If product is lost or damaged during the return, we will not be able to process the cancellation and the refund thereof. Goods lost in return transit will not be eligible for refund.

A refund will be processed only after the product is received, and is inspected, and is confirmed to be eligible for refund by Officina Italiana Trading LTD.

Amount of refund will be calculated by deducting 5% or 10% as explained above, towards transaction and administrative charges, only on the price of the item. Any other additional charges paid for shipping, taxes, levies or other expenses, will not be refundable in any case.

If a product is returned to the sender (Officina Italiana Trading LTD) due to customer’s refusal to pay any government-imposed tax or levy of the recipient’s country of delivery, then the return will be considered not eligible for refund and the amount will not be refunded.

The entire process may take 7 to 21 days.

Return of defective/wrong product:

If there is a manufacturing defect in the product, or if we have supplied the wrong product, please contact us at hello@theofficinaitaliana.com within 24 hours of receipt of the product with photographs of the defect, or the details of the ordered product and the supplied product.

We will arrange for the return pick up and bear the cost of return-courier and refund the full price of the product. The above-mentioned terms (a, d, e) will apply, nevertheless.

(Note- a slight colour difference due to image resolution or display on your device and the actual colour or the difference between the way you perceive the fabric or the feel of the fabric based on the image and the actual fabric or its feel – are not valid reasons for return. Before purchase, communicate with us for more information and clarification on such matters. We are available on a call or WhatsApp during 8am to 8pm (UAE time) all 7 days of the week.) 

Cancellation is not possible:

For any product which is customised for the customer.

If the customer has opted for the fall/pico service and it is done.

If the customer asked for the blouse to be cut and/or stitched.

If product is sold during clearance sale, discount, promotion, or any coupon or code is applied at the time of sale.

If it is specifically mentioned on the product that it is non-returnable for any express or otherwise reason.
